How to read product photos and size information
MSC Sourcing editorial guide · 19 October 2026
Use photographs alongside measurements
Photos help show shape, finish and packaging, but camera angle can change the apparent size. Look for written dimensions with units. If a product must fit an existing space, measure that space and ask the seller to confirm the relevant dimensions.
Choose the correct variant
Check colour, size, pack count and model selection before sending an inquiry or completing an order. Review the selected option again if you return to the page later. Ask whether the images show the actual variant or a range of available options.
Record what matters
Keep the model name, selected variant and agreed contents with your order reference. Photograph any visible delivery issue before discarding packaging. Use platform messaging to describe the difference clearly and request the next steps.
